THE LEGAL BIT
While we strive to create true-to-life photographs, floor plans and descriptions, our marketing material is only a guide. Purchasers should always visit in person, ask relevant questions and triple-check details. Brickworks takes our duty of care incredibly seriously and takes all reasonable steps to ensure all presented information is correct. However, we sometimes rely on the accuracy of the information provided to us by the seller and others. Also, please note that we often round up/down total floor plan measurements and/or use approximate distances.
BRICKWORKS SAYS
Located on a leafy street lined with Victorian villas, this first-floor flat marries a soulful aesthetic with original architectural features. Soaring ceilings and full-length sash windows open out the space beautifully, filling the interiors with plenty of natural light. The stunning bay window to the front is an undeniable focal point, while a private south-facing garden provides a hidden oasis to the rear.
The mix of materials that have been sensitively maintained - and celebrated - stand this home apart. Original floorboards ground its innate sense of character and, along with the exposed interior brickwork across the chimney breast, warm up the space to create a cosy, calm feel. Yet, contemporary convenience has been added in all the right places; cue the modern bathroom and kitchen.
Just minutes from the tranquillity of Yonge Park lies the effervescence of Finsbury Park, an area bursting with places to eat, drink and unwind. Then there's the park itself, with sports facilities, boating lake, theatre and festivals. When you fancy going further afield, you can do so with ease, as the transport connections from here are some of London's best.
THE OWNERS SAY
We've absolutely loved our time in this flat - we've ended up staying double the time we thought we would. We moved here in our twenties, went through lockdown, got engaged, then married, and now it's time for us to take our next step.
We've loved discovering the amount of things you can do nearby. No matter what kind of evening we want, we can find it within a 15-minute walk of our home. Whether that's having a refreshing glass of wine at a neighbourhood bar, a delicious meal at a new upcoming spot, or a pint down the local pub. There's also a lovely farmers market on a Sunday in Stroud Green, countless brunch and coffee spots, and great parks for long walks.
We hope you'll enjoy the garden as much as we have. We have spent many days and evenings there; enjoying the afternoon sun, having BBQs, and sharing it with friends. It's a real oasis and a rarity to have such a big garden in a London flat.

landmarks
1 Jolene AKA Big Jo
Go for the incredible sourdough, and stay for the sustainable and ethical produce. This bakery and restaurant has feel-good credentials and flavours guaranteed.
2 La Fabrica
This fantastic restaurant serves up classic Spanish tapas and modern takes on old favourites, and everything is totally delicious. They also have a seriously good wine list to complement the grub. Low-lit, with a long, bustling bar, towards the front, we love the atmosphere in this excellent local eatery.
3 Beam
Good food with a good heart - as well as a superb brunch selection, this independent cafe supports local charity Action For Kids. Don’t leave without trying the fiery but sublime shakshuka.
4 Xi’an Impression
Directly across the road from the Emirates, this tiny unassuming little restaurant serves up a feast of probably the best Chinese in North London. Sharing dishes from Xi’an (best known as the home of the Terracotta Army) the menu spans rich combinations of spices and soft, fresh noodles, crispy fragrant dumplings and their own version of a burger which is more than delicious…but the noodles are definitely the star of the show. Really great value.
5 Green Room Café
Small yet excellent coffee shop serving coffee (of course), fresh juices, delicious toasties & pastries. The perfect pick-me-up on the way to work.
