A delight for the senses, this striking four-bedroom home has been beautifully restored and rests in a quiet north London enclave close to Bounds Green.
Stanley Road, Bounds Green, 4 Bed. House
Boldly redecorated with great love and care, this Victorian terraced house is a treasure trove of historic detailing and contemporary design touches. They combine to create a near-perfect, modern family home.
Sumptuous and draped in colour, the ground floor is a dream to entertain in. The cosy and atmospheric bay-fronted living room connects with the luminous light-filled kitchen/diner extension with doors opening onto the garden oasis, complete with its own wood cabin. The considered design means each ‘zone’ feels self-contained yet provides a lovely, inter-connected flow.
Upstairs, the thoughtful layout continues. There are two large double bedrooms, an exquisitely designed bathroom with a soaking tub on the first floor, and a further two bedrooms, one en-suite, in the loft extension. Currently set up as a dressing room, the fourth bedroom would work equally well as a dedicated home office.
Perched on the outskirts of the city, Bounds Green profits from lush parkland in all directions, a vibrant neighbourhood and excellent transport connections, whisking you to Central London in around 20 minutes. For all these reasons and more, it’s easy to understand why this pocket of London is such a draw for families, young and old.

Current monthly utility costs run at gas £56, electricity £70 and water £26.
The house is being sold chain free.
THE OWNER SAYS
We adore this beautiful home that we have so lovingly created and will absolutely miss everything the area has to offer. We are incredibly lucky to be a short walk away from both underground (Piccadilly Line) and overground (Great Northern Rail). We have an abundance of green spaces close by and are in the catchment for an outstanding primary school which is quite literally at the end of the road.
Our local pub, The Ranelagh, is excellent, as are the local friendly coffee shops such as White Fig and dog-friendly Hot Milk. The Organic store near Bounds Green Tube is very well stocked, and the rather splendid Myddleton Road market is where you can pick up everything from Artisan bakes to vintage finds.
We’re incredibly lucky to have wonderful neighbours all along the street. From coffee mornings to festive drinks, the Stanley Road community spirit runs deep. We have had some wonderful, memorable, happy years living here and shall greatly miss it.

Featuring classic Greek cuisine with a contemporary spin, Nissi is a long-time neighbourhood favourite. Highlights are the fresh seafood, chargrilled meat and small mezze plates. But it’s the friendly service that really sets Nissi apart, making it a welcoming place for a workday lunch or date-night dinner.
With arguably the best brunch in north London, this smart Aussie-inspired joint has prosecco on tap, an in-house art gallery and DJ nights every Friday.
