BRICKWORKS SAYS
All things bright and beautiful, this two-bedroom flat attracts sunshine from every angle. Downstairs is essentially a self-contained floor with a spare room and full bathroom; upstairs is the open-plan living room/kitchen and master bedroom with en suite. That rare combination of discrete private and communal areas make it adaptable to a variety of needs.
Yet, arguably its greatest appeal is the atmospheric design that takes advantage of every inch of space—exposed brick, warmly worn floorboards, clever storage, a cosy window seat—and makes it feel like home. And it’s quite literally topped off by that sunny terrace, with views across the trees and chimneypots to the city skyline beyond.
The indie shops, foodie hotspots and favourite watering holes along Stoke Newington High and Church Streets are on the doorstep. Leafy Abney Park, lively Hackney Downs and lovely Clissold Park are all walkable, too. At the end of the road, Rectory Road station offers Overground service to Liverpool Street in less than 15 minutes.

THE OWNERS SAY
This flat is such a magical space: a true sanctuary where you can shut out all the busy-ness of the city and relax—on the roof terrace, in the cosy bedrooms or in the fresh bathrooms. The natural light and decor are the perfect blend of unique and classic, and it has so many wonderful features for a flat its size. I am gutted to leave this place but am really looking forward to passing it on to someone who will love it as much as we have!
The area is fabulous and full of fun activities, and I have never once felt unsafe walking around here, even at night. The transport links to the city are amazing; it’s so lovely not to have to go underground on the tube. Evering Road is a wonderful street, full of friendly faces and glorious in the springtime when the blossoms are out. And our neighbours are phenomenal—I truly love some of them like family.

2 Victory Mansion
This insanely cool bar/laid-back restaurant is a little gem. Not making a big statement from the outside, the interior has real Art Deco glory, with a beautifully crafted wooden bar, and sumptuous palm wallpaper. We love trying inventive cocktails and their delightful small dishes. One of our team's favourites is the charred leeks with crispy quinoa, it's utterly delicious.
