THE OWNERS SAY

I have loved my time living in Isleworth. I remember seeing Old Isleworth from the Thames path in 1997 and thinking what a beautiful village, never imagining that I would eventually live at one of the white Georgian properties.

It is a very special part of the river––the beauty and serenity of the area is uplifting, the people genuine and kind. Old Isleworth is a village and if you choose to, you can get to know the street and wider community, meaning meeting countless people as you stroll to the shops or walk the dogs. We have been very lucky to have been a part of this community and know we will be back to stay with our neighbours and that they will visit us in Devon.

THE LEGAL BIT

While we strive to create true-to-life photographs, floor plans and descriptions, our marketing material is only a guide. Purchasers should always visit in person, ask relevant questions and triple-check details. Brickworks takes our duty of care incredibly seriously and takes all reasonable steps to ensure all presented information is correct. Also, please note that we often round up/down total floor plan measurements and/or use approximate distances.

BRICKWORKS SAYS

Homes like this don't come along too often. This three-bedroom townhouse may have the qualities of the Georgian period—the classic symmetry, elegant sash windows, and ornate cornicing—but it has been carried into the 21st century with style and aplomb.

The kitchen is a mix of modern comforts and original architectural detailing. It has been sensitively extended, allowing light to pour through the lantern skylight into a dining area––a space created for entertaining which opens onto the sheltered walled garden via bi-folding doors. Discover rooms upon rooms as you roam the four floors, from the cosy panelled snug to the grand first-floor living space and study. Every bedroom had a view. Those at the front overlook the river, while the ones at the back look out onto carefully tended gardens, with the added indulgence of a dressing room on the top-floor suite.

Church Street is an incredible spot. It is moments from the river, where you can watch life go by, and Syon Park, which has 100 acres of parkland, is on your doorstep––it's a combination that very few neighbourhoods can rival. Old Isleworth has all the amenities and community spirit you'd hope for in a village in the city. And if you are looking for a new local, there are some amazing pubs between here and Richmond––which is just a 20-minute river walk away.
