We loved living in this house. It's such an easy, comfortable and relaxing house to live in. Cosy in the winter; light and cool in the summer.
A couple of things we really love are the French doors in the kitchen which open directly onto south-facing decked garden, which is fenced on all sides, providing additional space that we use all year round. There’s also a hidden paddling pool built into the deck which can be used as a sandpit.
We'll miss living in this lovely house, but our new life is starting in Bristol now, so hope to pass onto another family who will love it as much as we did!
The exterior, with its weathered red-brick and petrol blue woodwork, means it's a handsome house from the street. That positive first-impression continues inside, where the large double reception room and soft tones instantly create a calming atmosphere. Added to that, the back garden faces south, so light streams in from the rear of the house, bathing it in warm sunshine all day long.
The three bedrooms upstairs are all a decent size, particularly the main bedroom at the front, which is wide and welcoming and clearly the master. The pretty, original fireplace gives a pleasing focal point to the room and the two double-glazed sash windows draw in plenty of natural light.
A final but important mention for the back garden which is a bonafide sun trap. Fully decked with hardwood, so ultra low-maintenance, but with some mature planting that softens the whole the scene. Some clever soul has also added a small, hidden splash pool under the deck, which is a genius idea – brilliant for little ones.

This is everything a local pub should be: craft beers/ales on tap, delicious food and bar snacks, and–to top it off–a brilliant team that runs it. Whenever we just “pop” in, we can’t help but stay for hours. Plus, we can assure you their Sunday Roast is pretty much perfect.
This wonderful Victorian Park has a playgroup, playground, tennis courts, community cafe, and a charming lavender and rose garden, making it a place for all seasons.
Say hello to your new local, and very tasty, woodfired pizza takeaway. This lot aren’t afraid to break the boundaries of pizza-making with regularly changing specials, but purists will be satisfied with the freshness and delicious dough.
