A picturesque wharf warehouse was transformed to create a City-dweller’s haven for hybrid living.
Quebec Wharf,
Haggerston
Exposed brick walls, original timber floors and arched sash windows exposed the building’s history as a granary and spice warehouse, but the owner struggled to visualise the furnishing of the flat, and needed support with some serious decluttering and reconfiguration. One kitchen refurb and wardrobe-to-home office renovation later, this apartment was ready for work and play.
“From the start, Brickworks talked me through what my options were and drew up a clear plan for the expenditure. When I went back to see the finished product, I was almost tempted to stay! The photos looked amazing and the presentation on the website made the whole thing unbelievably smart and appealing. Within a few weeks we had an offer just below the asking price, which we accepted. The sale went through, and throughout the process Brickworks couldn't have been more helpful. I tell anyone I know that is thinking of selling to get in touch with them, because I know that, like me, they won't regret it.”
